Bronchial Foreign Body Removed by Bronchotomy

Abstract

|
Tracheobronchial foreign body aspiration is a dangerous and life-threatening emergency for children. Foreign body removal via rigid bronchoscopy is golden standard for this situation. But, in some complicated cases, bronchoscopic foreign body removal could be unsuccessful. A 8-month-old female was diagnosed foreign body aspiration in left lower bronchus. Foreign body was removed by bronchotomy without complications.
